8003 Zürich
Some apartments are just places to sleep, ours accidentally turned into a really good WG. Tucked away on a quiet street in Zürich Wiedikon, our 4.5-room apartment looks out toward Uetliberg — the hill where half of Zürich goes to escape the city for a walk, a run, or a sunset view. Soon, one of our rooms will be free, and we’re hoping to find someone great to fill it. The room: The room comes unfurnished (except for a large wardrobe that can be taken over), Move-in: May 1 (a bit flexible if needed). The apartment: a living room where people actually hang out instead of just passing through, a kitchen that regularly hosts cooking experiments (some very successful, some… educational), a balcony perfect for morning coffee or late-evening conversations, our own washing machine and dishwasher, Everything you need is nearby: a Coop just around the corner, plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance, and a PureGym if you feel motivated to work off all the pasta. The flatmates you’d be living with: Sandro (30) – Swiss lawyer, very easy-going and down-to-earth. He enjoys sports (especially Tennis), travelling, cooking, and is always happy for a chat or a spontaneous beer after work. Tyler (29) – originally from Hawaii, currently doing a PhD in biology at the botanical garden. He’s a futbol fan and probably the calmest person in the apartment — the kind of guy who keeps the WG balanced when Zürich life gets busy. The vibe: We both have busy schedules, but the flat is the kind of place where people still pause for a conversation in the kitchen, share the occasional dinner, or relax on the balcony after a long day. It’s not a party WG, but it’s definitely not silent either — just a relaxed home with good people. We are looking for someone who is: friendly and easy to live with, respectful of shared spaces, reasonably tidy, and looking for a nice place to call home, not just a room, If this sounds like your kind of WG, send us a short message about yourself. We’d love to hear your story!
