Location! We’re located just a quick 2-minute walk from Hedwigsteig tram stop or 4 minutes from Freiestrasse bus stop, making it easy to get around town. The lake and Stadelhofen train station are also within easy reach. Your room! Your room is bright and spacious, around 20 sqm. The flat is on the 2nd floor and features a kitchen, a bathroom, a separate toilet, and a comfortable living space. We also have a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer in the kitchen, plus access to an amazing shared rooftop with views over the city and the lake. A bike garage is available as well. We are planning to switch the current living room and bedroom back to their original layout, so that the living room once again benefits from both the balcony and the fireplace. The common language in the flat is English, and we appreciate an international atmosphere. We’re not big on parties at home, but in the summer we enjoy organizing BBQs and aperos on the rooftop, and in the winter we like to invite friends over for cozy dinners. About us! You’ll be living with two flatmates: Tom and Julius. Tom (27M), originally from France, currently doing a PhD at UZH. Before Switzerland, I spent quite a bit of time studying and working abroad, mainly in West Africa and Asia. Always up for a beer, a board game, or cooking together. I also like to go on hike and ski sessions (very original I know ;) )! Julius (32M), after finishing my PhD in the UK and US I started working in a fast-growing AI startup in Zurich last year. I love to cook, travel, surf and ski. Next steps! We’ll be organizing visits during weekday evenings starting around March 29th. The flat is free from 1st of April onwards, but we can be flexible with the start date!
